Terms of Service

The rules of engagement for using Agent Mag.

By accessing or using theagentmag.com ("Agent Mag," "the platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Use of the Platform

  • Agent Mag provides editorial content, tools, job listings, events, resources, courses, an AI chatbot, and community features for AI agent builders.
  • You may use the platform for personal, educational, and professional purposes related to AI agent development.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use interactive features.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Accounts & Authentication

  • Accounts are created via Google or GitHub OAuth. We do not store passwords.
  • You may only create one account per person. Multiple accounts may be suspended.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
  • You can delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

Content & Intellectual Property

  • All editorial content, design, branding, and code on Agent Mag is owned by Agent Mag or its contributors.
  • Articles, graphics, and original research may not be reproduced without written permission.
  • User-generated content (comments, community posts, feedback) grants Agent Mag a non-exclusive license to display and distribute that content on the platform.
  • The Agent Mag name, logo, and brand assets are trademarks and may not be used without permission.

Skills Registry & CLI

  • The Agent Mag Skills Registry hosts agent skill configurations contributed by the community.
  • Skills are configuration bundles (manifests, prompts, tool definitions) — not executable code.
  • By publishing a skill, you grant Agent Mag the right to distribute it through the registry and CLI.
  • Agent Mag does not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or fitness of any skill for a particular purpose.
  • Use of the CLI (npx agentmag add) constitutes acceptance of these terms.

Job Board & Listings

  • Job listings are posted by third-party employers. Agent Mag does not verify every listing.
  • We are not a party to any employment relationship formed through the job board.
  • Sponsored listings are clearly labeled. Sponsorship does not imply editorial endorsement.

Newsletter

  • By subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to receive weekly emails from newsletter@theagentmag.com.
  • Every email includes an unsubscribe link. We honor unsubscribe requests immediately.
  • We do not sell subscriber lists or share email addresses with third parties.

AI Chatbot

  • The Agent Mag AI assistant provides information based on our content library. It may not always be accurate.
  • Chat conversations are stored per-user for session continuity. You can request deletion at any time.
  • Do not share sensitive personal information, credentials, or proprietary code with the chatbot.
  • The chatbot may display sponsored content, which will be clearly labeled.

Prohibited Conduct

  • Do not use the platform to harass, abuse, or threaten others.
  • Do not scrape, crawl, or bulk-download content without prior written permission.
  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our infrastructure.
  • Do not use the platform to distribute malware, spam, or misleading content.
  • Do not impersonate Agent Mag staff, contributors, or other users.

Sponsorships & Advertising

  • Sponsored content (articles, job listings, tool features, newsletter placements) is always labeled.
  • Sponsorship does not influence editorial decisions or content rankings.
  • Sponsors agree to separate sponsorship terms outlined on our partner pages.

Limitation of Liability

  • Agent Mag is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of data or business interruption.
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, if any.
  • We are not responsible for third-party content, tools, or services linked from the platform.

Changes to These Terms

  • We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or a banner on the site.
  • Continued use of Agent Mag after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
  • The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
